BOTTOM DOLLAR FOOD TO OPEN NEW STORE IN GLASSBORO, N.J. ON FRIDAY, DEC. 2

SALISBURY, N.C – Bottom Dollar Food, a discount grocer with expansion efforts underway in the greater Philadelphia market, will open a new store tomorrow at 812 North Delsea Drive in Glassboro, N.J. The first 200 customers will receive a free Bottom Dollar Food reusable bag filled with private brand products.

"We're very excited to open our newest store in the Borough of Glassboro, and we look forward to offering our unbelievable prices at this additional location," said Bottom Dollar Food President Meg Ham. "Bottom Dollar Food has unbelievable prices, fresh produce, quality meats and national brand selections on items that matter most. We invite the community to come experience a shopping environment that is fun, vibrant and energetic."

The Glassboro store is approximately 21,400 square feet and will be the discount grocer’s 25th location in the region. It will open to the public at 8 a.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony and will begin regular operating hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

As part of the grand opening festivities, Bottom Dollar Food will donate $1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Gloucester County and $1,000 to the Glassboro Rotary Club.

Bottom Dollar Food opened its first store in High Point, N.C., on Sept. 21, 2005, and has since grown to 53 stores in five states.
